Stoned and I are developing the multiplayer part together. So what do you guys wanna see in MP? Post your ideas here please. |

Game modes: bombing run, ctf, coop, assault (destroy other team's base), commander (NS style). Being able to select the player model ya want, being able to customize it (color, scale, scale would have limits), more weapons, useable vehicles, etc. I doubt they'll all be done but i hope for at least ctf. :P |

a mode like "siege" from Tribes 2 or "assault" from Unreal Tournament would be cool. One team defends certain objectives while the other team tries to destroy them or whatever. Once the objectives have been completed, or the time runs out, the defenders become the attackers, and the attackers become the defenders. The attackers then try to get a faster time than the other team did. The one who does it the fastest wins. Also, deathmatch and CTF are both musts. |

I like all of killers ideas really mostly what u see on MP games of today like custom names, colors, player models, weapon choices, vechile choices, limitations where u can set time limit kill limit etc. lots of options :). |

Well, i have no idea if you planned to do this already, but it would be cool if you could allow use of the WE so we can make our own MP maps. |

A Ladder :) Use Play game to join the games, choose like assault to join a game of assault with other people, winner/winers get a win on their record for that game type. |

I think you should put on like a IT gametype where a player picks up a flag/ball/whatever and looses the use of his weapons and has to run while others try and kill him, but he has more speed than the other players just cant shoot, and for everysecond he has possesion of the item he gains 1point and in the end of a set ammount of time the player with the most points wins... got this from somegame i forget what... |

i would love to see this mod NOT do the "jump all the time and get the really really big gun" tactic. maybe keep the movement speed somewhat below inhuman. sure, it may be fun sometimes, but i don't really like a key factor in my skills being chance of spawning right by a huge gun or holding down the mouse button and hope that i hit something through all the people jumping like a bunch of raving nutters... temporary movement speed % deduction for jumping. not anything huge... just so that it can keep people from jumping 99.9% of the time. those who do are going to go verry slowly:ggani: maybe weight limits, so that if people want the mondo-super-press-a-button-and-watch-everyone-in-the-level-die blaster, they will have to sacrifice just about all of their other weapons. if they have only smaller weapons, then they can hold several at once an alternative to weight limits is maybe let people choose classes and thus they can only pick up what their class allows. if they want the small nuclear warhead stuck on the end of a rocket, then they can have it. but then they wouldn't be able to use any other good guns. this can help balance things out so no one person can run around and grab all the good guns. maybe just one or two good guns per class (except for the one that totes the superweapon). in the department of goodies: we should be able to pick our model and skin (if more than 1 skin is going to be included) we should be able to pick our crosshair where did the idea of scaling come up? if that was made as a feature, every single person is going to have their model scaled as small as possible so they wont be hit as much or won't be so noticable if they camp. well, that's all i can come up with for now. :gsmile: |

1st, ya wouldn't be able to scale your model to less than 90% and more than 120%. 2nd, what abotu weapons where when they are carried they reduce the carrier's speed by a certain amount? :p 3rd, what about powerups (i don't mean quad damage, i mean faster walking or increased jumps)? Crazy ideas. 8) |

ctf and death match are must haves and a thing like "harvest from quake(sp?)3 team arena would be cool and also have most other things seen in unreal tournament 1/2, Tribes 1/2, and Quake 3 Arena/Team Arena. |

well, heres an interesting idea (dont know if it belongs in this thread but ill say it anyway). some kind of missile launcher that locks on to moving objects, and the only way to lose the missile is to stop moving... |

I'd like to see a "hunted" game from HL:TF where one guy is a president with a melee attack and he has body guards and there are 3-5 snipers goin after him :ggani: |
