hey kdub, i saw in ur modelling video a while back that when u mirrored the cube, it put it perfectly on the otherside, and looked like it basically put it right on the seam, when i try to mirror, i have to offset it cause it puts it right in the middle, and then its not exactly on the seem no matter how much i try to move it and zoom in, can u plz tell me how u made ur mirror tool be so great |

all u need to do is select the plygon's of the mirrored image and move them around using the tool that looks like a cross with arrows. when its in place weld it to the model pieces together. not quite kdub but.... anyway thats how i do it :D |

or he used the symmetry modifier, which auto-welds the 2 sides as well. |

its not symmetry, all he does is click the mirror tool , change it to instance, and it automatically like puts it not quite welded but agains the original box |
