PhotoShop vs PaintShopPro FIGHT!

I have downloaded both of these programs, but I just started to learn how to skin a few days ago. So it's my attempt to figure out which program I should use during my learning stages. I also wanted to know just which one the population here used.

I use Photoshop

Paint Shop Pro 7.0 all the way.

photoshoper since i was in 4th grade.

some1 should take a poll of who likes Pshop and who likes psp pro

neither of those two

I think Photoshop 7.0

Cuz in PSP it needs to load when you choose another painting tool.

Psp dosnt load when u choose differnt tools unless u have a slow pc.... Then i wouldnt know but i think PSP is the better of the 2 and i have used both.

Beleive it or not, PaintShop Pro is actualyl superior, although more "professional". Photoshop is easier to learn, but has less.....features.

I don't use either, like Wolverine. He uses PhotoImpact, and I use Corel.....

It's a big world, and I also think this is a silly thread, as it's all opinionated.

what are u talking about ive been using photoshop 4ever amd theres so many little tricks 2 learn and Photoshop dominates the art industry. Its used 4 textiling, comic books ,GAMES ,practially all advertizing, movies. Paint shop pros always behind 2. They alwayz get features after pshop. u could call it supirior now considering psp8 came out only a little while ago, but its still almost par with ps7 which came out like last year.But harliquin is right this is all opinionated i love it 1 of my favorite things 2 do is learn more about photoshop., but u see its just my Hobbie.There are alot o pgramz out there and u should try 2 use all of them. I actually used 2 use my kidpix 2 do some effects and then bring it back 2 pshop.

And 4 all the pshop lovas out there PS8.0 is commin out in like

I have used both of them and Paint Shop Pro is much better and easier to use. I have used Photoshop 6 and 7 as well as Paint Shop Pro 7 and 8 (I am currently using PSP8).

For anyone who says that Photoshop is better, I suggest that you take a look at the new Paint Shop Pro 8. PSP8 is much better than PSP7 as well. You can download a trial of PSP8 at Jasc Software's website.

believe me, photoshop is the best, i used it since i was 8, and its really easy to use.
Photoshop is more expensive then Painshop Pro, and Adobe only make great softwares. Like:
Adobe After Effect
Adobe Acrobat Reader
Adobe Image Ready
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Photoshop
and some more...

psp 8 is new and the best

Photoshop takes ages to load tho
