Im having trouble making a unit look like the Demon Form from the Demon Hunters Ultimate. I know it's possible or was possible on RoC. How do I do this on TFT? |

whats the problem with it? go to NE units, special, select "DEMON HUNTER (DEMONFORM)" or something go to "MODEL" and the just press CTRL+C then go to ur unit, go to MODEL and press CTRL+V and u got the same if it looks like a basic demon hunter (same problem with some towers), go back to DEMONFORM and copy the ANIMATIONS there... |

Dude you try making a Custom Demon Hunter in Demon Form cuz I cant do it. I think Blizzard changed it so the only way u can get it is by Using Meta which if they did thats gay -.- |

you must add the correct animation tags to the unit that you want too look in meta form. |

did you try the unit with the animation tags in game? Cause the DH dosnt look morphed in the editor (dont ask me why) if not then ure missing something, copy across all the stats for the Meta DH and then change the ones you need, testing it every now and then. I know you can do it cause i've done it. |

err he is right guys, no matter what I do I can't use the demon form(I just did a copy paste and checked all the values for his animations, they are all exactly alike but it just won't work). I'm using UMSWE 3.7 maybe its a bug with it? edit: here is a workaround use an animation trigger for example. Untitled Trigger 002 Events Map initialization Conditions Actions Animation - Add the alternate animation tag to Demon Hunter (Demon Form) 0002 <gen> |

i've looked at it, turns out the unit that looks like the DH meta has to have meta as one of its abilities (unless u use triggers) must be a TFT thing. |

No. The demon form has its own animations in the demon form model. As mentioned above, just add the alternate animation tag and the unit will use all the alternate animations instead(for demon hunter, alternate = demon form). |

You have to use the trigger though for it to use those animations, believe me I have worked on it for a couple of days :(. |

Ok heres the deal I figured this out its kinda complicated. U need to have a ability that lists a normal units form and alternate form there's no way to go about it sorry then go to ur animation tags the first one needs to be named : alternateex. 2nd: large. 3rd : Alternate. 4rth: Alternate. Or if for treants. 1rst: Unrooted. 2nd: large. 3rd: Unrooted. 4rth: Unrooted. and the Dependecy Equivalency needs to be the alternate form. Perhaps u can hide the ability button that be good If u dont want the unit to be timed use the base of the druids ability of form change to make it permenant. Its the only way to do what ur talking about. |
