I want to create a resurrect spell tat can resurrect hero in the battlefield Example ABC's hero died in the battlefied ,my character beside him n i hav resurrect spell ,i cast the spell on him then he will b resurrected Can this b possible ?? Plz help me ..... Plz teach me in detail cause im ... alittle .....stupid.... |

You can. I know this, cause I just started working on a map with this included... But its alot of work, to get an idea how to make it: When a hero dies, u need to create a dummy-unit. thats dead on the floor there then u need to detect if someone is using item/spell on it and remove it, while ressurecting the hero there. i have just started working on this mourning, and im also not finished with it. good luck. |

LOL its so easy! i didnt even use a dummy unit or something i am so sexy, i'm nearly done with it ill post the map soon... but i want fat credits :-) |

Ok, here it is: I added some info as comments to the triggers.. you should read it! Testing the map: Start it, select one of the paladins, press "a" and click at your second paladin. 5-6 hits later, you can resurrect him :-) How it works: If a hero dies, he will be revived instant. Then his "death animation" plays and he gets invulnerable and "paused". (you do NOT see him dying twice...!) Now u got a dead hero on the floor that cannot move or get attacked If someone is casting a resurrect hero spell on him, his "stand animation" is played, he is vulnerable again and will be "unpaused" I feel so sexy at the moment, i cannot even tell :-D this is so damn k3wl. EDIT: I had some stupid stuff still in, new version.... |

I hav tried the map N it did ress the fallen heroes But got 2 problems ......... 1 ) The fallen heroes can talk = ="" (ghost ?!?!) 2 ) The fallen heroes can regenerate HP = ="" LOL But anyway ,thx for ur reply P.S if u found out another way plz tell me ~~ Thxxx |

a) why should the player not be able to talk? he is in the need to cry help b) who cares if he is regenerating hitpoints? when he is resurrected, hitpoints are set to a % value (same for mana on my own map^^) |

Bloodlust's method is good in theory and simply done, but there are a number of problems which have been highlighted above. I would still go with the dummy corpse-esque type spell. If the unit was supposed to be badly wounded then it might still be able to talk, but it's supposed to be dead, or we might as well call it the Heal Very Badly Hurt Heros spell. |

WTF is wrong with you, are you on some evil drugs or just had a bad day? 1) Player will always be able to talk and i will not change this cause "a hero died". THATS NOT A PROBLEM U NUT. 2) STFU AND TEST IT. Who cares if the unit ****ing regenerates hp cause it is invulnerable and gets FIXED hitpoints of resurrection. k? i hate ****ing ppl like u. oh yea and dont waste my time if u are not able put a trigger that sets units hp to 1 every 5 seconds. |

i play without sound, but the unit isnt supposed to talk - its paused. u can still kill the sound with an action? i never looked but i think its possible... still... wtf cares for this?! and if someone is annoyed by the hp regen.. well... DUH put a trigger to set hp to 1 every 5 seconds.... no problem, see? |
