How do I convert a BLP file back to the MDX file, or do I even need to? Can I use the BLP file when loading a cusome skin into the world editor? Is there a trigger that can apply a texture to a unit?

I Dont know how often Ill get a change to come back to this, so if you could email me or msg using AOLIM that would be great.

You don't convert a BLP to an MDX. That's impossible. A BLP is 2d and a MDX is 3d. There is no trigger that attaches a skin to a unit. You have to import the BLP (skin) into your map in the correct path of the unit. Check the stickies, please.

Been there done all that. But when I change the unit art path to the blp file, it says "Could not find faile.." How do I get my custom skinns into the game here?

You must get the skin path from the model (same as the one you extracted it from the MPQ), then import in the manager with same name/path.
