Map transitions?

I am part of a team working on a campaign that will allow you to go from map to map (like bonus orc campaign). I am currently racking my brain looking at those complex transition triggers (those functions that claim they are disabled have been taken care of. We can use those.) Does any one know anything about map transitions? Any tips or something?

Thanks

Are you saying you found out how to use the special Blizzard only triggers? Or are you asking how else to do the same thing?

Accually the triggers are programmed into the game so it will only work on Blizzard Maps. Basicly the system goes like this:

A unit enters a region
Map is saved
Next map is loaded
Player does next map
A unit enters a region
Map is saved
Last map is loaded
exc..

Ahh nuts. I have been looking through the orc campaign, and it's slow work. I was hoping someone had already done it, and could save me a little time. Cest La Vie, I suppose. I'll just keep working on it.

Thanks anyway,

Its a combination of the Blizzard-only Triggers and the Map Cache. When you enter a map where you have been before, they load the old savegame. But you dont want to have the heroes you had when you where on this map the last time, so they use game cache to load the heroes.

Its basically just the following 4 Triggers:
"Transitions Commons / Perform Map Transition" checks if you have been on the next map before, and will load either the savegame or load the game from scratch.
"Transitions Commons / Game Load" runs all the Triggers necessary after loading. You won't need 3/4 of them, because they restore data only needed in the Orc Campaign.
"Transitions Commons / Import All" loads the Game Cache and runs all the Triggers which convert the game-cache into variables/units/quests/etc.
"Transitions Commons / Import Hero (Name)" reloads the hero out of the Game Cache or creates a default hero if the unit was not in the game cache but it was in the group. (for whatever reason)

@all who asked: It IS possible to make your Map Blizzard-signed. (not with JASS) Blizzard signed map are exactly 260 bytes larger than they would be if you saved them in the "normal" editor. These 260 bytes contain a mark that tells the program that the Map is Blizzard signed, and 256 bytes of coded stuff. If you don't have that coded stuff the signature won't work. The coded stuff is different on every map, and I don't think anybody has yet been able to crack it. (except for TiJiL)
