If you are tired of all the 'old' Hero selection systems, try out this new pretty innovative one: http://www20.brinkster.com/magos818/...selection.html |

Slick, I like it. I might use it and if I do I'll add you into my credits somewhere. Although my current project may or may not have a hero selection system. None the less I like it and it's easy to manage as well. Easily changable I highly recommend this system to anyone making a AOS type map. Although one suggestion to either Magus or the to be map maker, perhaps show the units available below the selection box. Just so people can cycle through 20 heroes quicker when looking for the hero they want. |

Hmmm.. I gotta say: cool! But actually it didnt really work in my map and i couldnt change your system that much. With some work i created my own system. The Heroes are already put on the map and with the arrow keys the players move the camera from hero to hero, if they press the down-arrow the selected hero will change its ownership to the player (with like 6 special effects^^) and be paused. Thats cause every hero can be taken only once. Also the other players will see what hero is taken. After everybody has selected they are teleported to the intro sequence and get unpaused. It was tons of work, cause i couldnt even use parts of your system (tbh: i was too stupid for doing it :-/ ). Hmmm but i think my 3 short triggers are alot more simple and still work perfect :-D You get credits for the idea :-) |

Prolly going to modify it and use it in my map. Very interesting, and it gives us a way to describe the heroes a little better :) |
