Would you play a map like this?

The maps is a stealth/infiltration map. Players 1-4 each control a large company. They also control a hero. Player's 4-8 are the employees of Players 1-4. Players 9-12 are freelance merceneries.

The map's victory conditions are:
>If a company hero or a company's mercenary gets to another company's Master Database, gets data, and returns with it, then the targeted company loses the game and all it's gold goes to the attacking company.
>If there is only one company or freelancer left standing, they win.

-----------------
Map Features
-----------------
>Chat is turned off. When a player chats a message it appears above their hero's head.
>Line-of-site triggers allowing you to sneak up on an enemy unit from behind and back-stab it before it even knows you're there.
>To get a mercenary to do a job, you need to make a offer, then when the task is completed, you must pay-up.
>Company scientists research technology and weaponry for you.
>Engineers build you defences.
>Companies can sell technology to freelancers or even members of other companies.
>Corpse looting! If you die, then all your technology, armor, gold, weapons etc is left at the sight, while the revived hero, must travel back to it. If someone else wants, they can steal the corpse.
>Drivable vehicles.
>Custom AI to make sneaking both easier and harder.

Will add more to the list as I think of them.

Yeah, it sounds okay (Reminds me a BIT of Capture the Flag though...though it has some nice changes) but like someone before me said "You'll need some ...make that a whole lot of many big triggers...ugh"
BTW How could you make the chat message apear above your head?

It does sound like capture the flag but more interesting. I think as long has you dont have any annoying game features it should be fun to play.

Dark, chat is simple, simply take all chat msgs, change it to a floating text string, then delete the origonal chat msg

I've got line of site working.

My system for sienists/engineers/guards is that they are comp controled. If you select a single unit you can use certain abilities to send it to certain places until it gets hungry/tired and returns to the appropriate room. Any other orders are canceled immediately.

I just want to know if you like/dislike this system. I thinks it adds a more tactical edge (ie setting up shifts etc).

Chat is working, and i'm working on the custom AI.

I would play it a few times, try to give it a bit more variation, something that would make me play it again and again

Sounds good but I think players need the option to talk to eachother. With limited sight range and text only apears above their heads I have a feeling people are going to get annoyed by the silence or always having to find someone or stand next to them to talk to them.

Maybe speach should be when you type a message anyone within a certain radius of you recives the text message. Seems how you should be able to "Hear" someone even if you can't see them. Maybe a short map ping in their location because you should be able to "Hear" what direction its coming from too.
