this is probably a stupid question... but how do you add color to the game - text? like the quest info, and hints and stuff? |

The easiest way is the color utility found in the download section here. http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/f...s=&forumid=206 |

Colors are allways set via RGB-code. Simply type |cXXXXXXXX in front of the text you want to color. (Of course you have to replace the 'XX' by hex-decimal-code [00 to FF]) To reset the color back to the default value use |r PS: The code to place a return key is |n. Maybe this is useful for you, too. :D |

A program for making single and gradient colour texts. Also contains the 12 player colours: http://www20.brinkster.com/magos818/...ar3colour.html |

Wow, good program. Like pen, I was using the decimal grades...Boy what a hassle. Thx a bunch! :foot: Plus, it's such a small app, you can easily run it while running WE. (Technically, I'm running B.Net (WC3), WE, and this at the same time, but this is still really easy to run...) |

If you need something like this ... But why using this program if I can set colors by simply typing 8 numbers? O_o |

It's faster to pick a colour from the palette unless you're uber-1337 at making up ARGB colours by yourself. And making gradient colours by hand is not so funny ^^. |
