Thusfar I've managed to hammer out most every problem with this, it's getting down to just the balancing...the only existing problems with overall stability of the tech trees is stuff that CANNOT be done until the editor is patched. I'd like critiques on the following: Unit concepts tech tree balance unit strength/cost balance hero ability balance custom icons/skinning (skinning minor) the following are problems that I cannot fix until the new patch: the Succubus' Banish ability doesnt research. Some hero abilities cut off half way through their tooltip, this is due to character limit. Feel free to comment on anything you want, just please do comment! |

I've probably forgotten some of my comments, but here are the things I remember. 1. The forgotten Spawn seems to become useless after you research the upgrades. Maybe you could give it some mana so it could use that spawn tentacle ability it has. 2. The high warlock has F as the hotkey for two abilites, fire storm and forked lightning. Change one of them. 3. Ah, nice elevator system you have there... and little sunken ruins floor decoration... and same with that orb that the warlock couldn't drop. So... why are those there? 4. I think more hero ability editing is needed to make it more unique. 5. I may be wrong, but the custom units seem way too powerful- most having HP over 1300 it seemed. Except for the little fel orcs that already were in the game. 6. Does the Infernal Machine's burning blood ability work? I can't tell since there weren't any enemy buildings to attack. Make more creeps and an enemy base so we can see how the balancing is. 7. The two new races sure have a lot of similarities... were you planning on changing that? 8. More heroes, of course. 9. It seems that forgotten spawn should be smaller or something, maybe tinted, so they don't look as powerful as their level 15 parent. 10. The blood warrior or whatever, the non warlock hero has more abilities than ability points to spend on. Maybe you should take out the Stat Enhancer ability. Good luck |

The two races have many similarities because of the way the campaign's set up...the blood lord is the main hero, and uses the demon tech tree there for awhile, until events happen and he teams up with the high warlock, and they combine their forces. |
