I've seen this ability around, but sofar haven't been able to figure it out. How do you create a multi-arrow ability? Advice greatly appreciated.

I believe you mean shoot more than one arrow at once. Give your unit the ability "Barrage". Also, change the barrage ability so that it can target ground units also.

.. Yeah, Multi-arrow means shoot more than one arrow at once. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough on that.
So I use the Barrage ability as a template? Thanks! *goes to try*

pheonix tails or what ever the ability of the pheonxi is called also works good for this, just add more tails to increase the number of attacks. And whats great is that you can force it to only use one arrow (The main shot), as each additional shot can be forced a cooldown against a target by the length of the flame duration (you can set the damage to nothing so the guy will burn but take no damage).

You mean Phoenix Fire (I think that's what it's called). I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that phoenix fire shoots jets of flame at nearby units, whether the unit with the ability is attacking or not.
I use the blood mage in melee, and when i fly a phoenix over enemy units, bursts of fire fly out at all of the enemies even though I'm not attacking (it goes off when I am moving). I am also aware that the phoenix has an immolation, but that creates little fires on the nearby units and seems to be independant from the phoenix fire shots.

Re-model Carrion Swarm to look like a bunch of arrows and make that the d00ds attack or give them no projectile and attach that to the projectile, and give it splash.

Just Use Barrage like the first guy says that is the correct way to do it.

The only way that works is the Barrage ability but its a super buggy spell. I made a post about this a few days ago becuase it would only shoot 2 arrows no matter how many I set it to. I think I just need to play around with it some more to get it to shoot more but I just havnt got around to it. Best of luck to you though.

Yea but glaive won't give the effect of many arrows being shot at once just it bouncing. I think he wants a multishot like in D2

Yea now since from what that one guy says that Barrage has the bug that doesn't let you change it... You could always Slk edit to do it if it came down to it.

I have played around ALOT with phoenix fire, and YES the buring affect is part of peonix fire, the AOE is both the range and the AOE for the burning effect, if you don't want the buring effect just set duration to 0. I myself use it for letting towers have two simoltanous attacks and allowing units to fire whilst moving
