DOTA-Like Gold System

Ive been at this for about two hours now and have given up trying. I want to change regular units (footmen, ghouls, etc.) so that when killed they will give the owner of the killing unit gold or a "bounty", like in DOTA or AOS maps but I cant see an easy way of doing this without extensive trigger work. Is there something I'm missing in the Object Editor? Plz help me.

It's just a simple trigger. Something like:

Event: Map Initialization
Condition: None
Action: Set Player Flag (Bounty) for (Player #) (On)

If you turn the bounty flag on for player 2, then every time someone kills one of player 2's units, they will get a bounty. The amount of the bounty is determined by the bounty values in the unit editor.
