Again, for ToB. ![]() Old Keeper of the Grove: ![]() Update, plus Zoomed Way Too Close shot for all those details that just won't show up in-game: ![]() As I posted on the ToB forums, a few comments to keep in mind while you critique: 1.) Yes, the lip in his portrait looks as though he was just nailed in the face with a brick. Unfortunately, I cannot fix that without editing the portrait model, so we'll just have to giggle at it for now. 2.) I am aware that the chainmail stretches uncomfortably on his front. 3.) I can't change his tail, as it uses graphics from another ambiguous part of his body. I'd love to edit the model in that area, but in the interest of size, I will let him have a cute knob of a tail. 4.) I know the jewelry on his ears is hard to see, but I like it too much to get rid of it, and it shows up a bit when he turns his head in the portrait. Yay! |

That looks good. what does it look like with team colours? |

Thanks for the comments! There is no visible team colour, aside from hero glow (I'm sure you can see fun rings of light around the left hand/legs from the hero glow); the glow I had on him for the photo shoot is grey. |

I think the fur on the hooves are a bit plain, maybe spruce 'em up a bit. Apart from that, yet another great skin brought to you by the talented Jacinthe! |

Just out of curiosity, are you hand drawing your icons as well? |

Yep, she is. |

Wow, what can I say? Another great skin, 9.5/10 :D The only problem I see is the fur by the hooves should be darkned to match the rest of the body, other then that it's just 0_o ...Teach me your secrets >.> |

Thanks a lot, I appreciate the feedback guys. The colour of the legs is meant to be different from the rest of the body - they're known as stockings in the horse world. They may indeed need more shading - I will play with it a little today to see if I can do anything without messing it up terribly. The icons are indeed hand (err mouse?) drawn in Photoshop. He doesn't have a name at the moment, which is quite unusual for me as I like to give my characters an identity, whether it's a drawing or a skin; however, I am just working on creating some original skins at the moment for Tides of Blood, which they may use however they please. Therefore, this fellow shall be tentatively known as "the Evil Chaotic Centaur Guy That Looks Good But Isn't." Once again, thank you for your comments. |
