Can't make deep water

Hi, when I did new map I set the default tileset as shallow water, and the default cliff level as 0 (stupid, I know) and now it won't let me make any deep water on my map... how can I fix this without starting completely over?

Try going to Advanced; Raise Cliff level

And punch it up 2 notches.

I tried that, all that did was raise my current cliff levels... my level 0 was still shallow water though :|

Ah-huh ! :D I got it !
The cliff level is 2 low.
In other words make it in higher land.
