So this is basically double click system that prints stats onto the screen?

Didn't see a SS that showed stats printing, but I'll check it out.

hmm, I saw that Double click selection system thread, but I didn't downloaded it / know how it works.

This is nice cause you can see abilities and stuff, just see the link to my hero arena info, and you'll get screenshots of the selection system.

The click one in the recource forum works very well IMO.

You might want to make things a little more clear for people that might use this. I assume most would use because they cant or don't want to write their own and it requires some TLC to get up and running.

Hero's don't get picked off the bat and the "add custom spells" to get it working is a bit vague.

I thought I knew to understand english but, ehr this day seems black to me, I don't want to be annoying but could you tell me what does this mean?

The hero's aren't being picked or what? , what is wrong to my add custom spells triggers? What is TLC?

By the way I think the new version is better explained.

erm.. well TLC=Tender loving care...

When I ran the map the Hero's would not select. After clicking the check box to pick them, an arial shackles effect was cast on them and they took damage for a while until they died.

There was a comment to one of the triggers along the lines "simply add your custom spells to make this work"

1. I don't get why the units were being killed.

2. Hero's weren't being selected

All I was saying in my other post is you might want to explain a little better what is going on with the selection system, because people may get confused and not bother.

What the, I tested it and it worked! , I say that if you want to implement this in other map you need to copy the custom abilities that are in the object editor,

Tell me what were you doing, it should be working.

Here is what I downloaded from this thread... maybe it was the wrong file?

Edit- heh, ok well... to save time I disabled this :

Unit - Change ownership of PreviewingHero[(Player number of (Triggering player))] to Neutral Passive and Change color

Your anti-Cheat trigger is what was doing the shackles thing... and it does it until the unit dies.. I assume this is a work around to keep people from choosing the same hero. Sooo... aside from that it's a nice system. For a demo like this I think you should leave that trigger above disabled so people can just load it and pick a hero and see how it works.

Maybe I'm just lazy...

That's really weird, it should be working perfectly, however I will destroy the attachment and release a version with instructions to implement, in some weeks.
