Need Idea for Problemsolution: Miss on Unit

Hello.

I want a couple of unit having a miss chance on each attack, but because it is a big battle with different units and stuff i cannot give everybody evasion or cast a edited curse...

can somebody think of a way making them miss from time to time?

Here is an idea :) Just came up with it

Untitled Trigger 001
Events
Unit - A unit Is attacked
Conditions
(Unit-type of (Attacked unit)) Equal to GuyWhoEvade
(Unit-type of (Attacking unit)) Equal to GuyWhoAttacks
Actions
Unit - Add Evasion to (Attacked unit)
Wait 3.00 seconds
Unit - Remove Evasion from (Attacked unit)

Just create Evasion as a custom skill, setting it at level 1, with the evade % that you want.

The wait will ensure that the skill stays for at least one attack, the trigger will run again, and remove the evasion over and over.

damn I'm good :P lol

I just tested it, and it works, the wait timer can be set to 1 second though, doesn't matter :)

lol thats pretty cool!

my idea (i came up with) was this:

since i try to simulate a real battle with ~2500 range archers, then melee and knights rushing in.. i place the archer-row in the back and make a CLIFF there.. then a ramp around it and heigher the terrain so that u cannot see that there is a cliff. now they will have the basic miss chance, until i morph them to short range archer and send em into battle


ohhh and just a second after posting i got it:

i give all the units a 50% chance to absorb 500 piercing dmg each attack^^ :-P (mountain giant skin skill)
