Alright. Here's the deal; I open the gmax12.exe package I downloaded, it unzips it, as it should, and then comes up with the installation wizard. It check for installed components, as it should, and then prompts me to click 'Next' to continue. Once I click it, however, I get the following errors: 'Could not copy C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WZS18.tmp\eula\AdskLicense.ini. Installation may not fucntion properly. Please cancel installation.' (Yes, it really is spelled incorrectly.) Well, then I click Ok, and get the following error: 'Registry key not found.' I hit Ok again, and, alas, another error: 'Error 1722. There was a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.' I hit Ok, and get the following notice: 'Installation ended prematurely because of an error.' I hit Ok, and the installation completely closes out. I am running Windows XP Pro. I tried redownloading the package, but got the same error. Please someone tell me what my trouble is. Thanks in advance. |

Sounds like it doesnt have write access to the Temp directory to me, not sure though. Do you have admin status for your account? |

questions like these should be aimed at discret, a gmax forum, or anything that is actually related to the program itself. This forum is for the WC side of modeling, not technical support for programs that aren't developed here. |

Yes, it does have Admin powers. And, Chobo, I have already posted there, and have gotten no support so far. |
