i am in need of 2 things...

i need to get a terrainer for a campaign im working on[currently, alone] and also a spell editor, for they seem kinda confusing for me..i desperetly need the terrainer, cuz i look at my maps, and then look at some others, and say "i suck at mapping", if you want to you could take a look at this level i have been working on for about 45 mins, just for proof of how horrible i am at it..the level isn't even finished :P..please, someone help me out..

oh yah heres a storyline type of thing:

Orcs who have been seeking freedom from the being servants of the legion, this clan is known by the name of the Penetrating blade, and they have travelled to a distant world to find even more freedom from the demons - but all they found was worlds that the legion has cursed - however, they did find one suitable land, covered entirely in snow, untouched by the legion, for all that lives in this world is primitive beings, as if the world hasn't been around for long, meaning the orcs can shape it into a personal domain, where only they rule.

however, not long after the orcs found a new place to call home, the demons had come to this world to capture the orcs that seeked only something more then being slaves, and now you must control all of the orcs into battle against the burning legion, using their own weapons against them, during this war, the first race to walk the world has awoken, after centuries of rest, he seeks to rebuild his peoples villages, but to his suprise another race has taken over - the orcs, you would expect them to hate them dearly - but yet they turn out to have one common enemy - the Burning Legion.

the campaign starts in outland, and then on the second level you travel to the new world, and on the 4th[on the 3rd you fight demons]you meet this anceint race, the races have something in common - the hate for the legion, for you see, long before the orcs came to the land, the Mytharids[i need a better name]had an encounter with the legion, and after that they casted a great spell thought to be capable of lasting for eternity, but yet the orcs had diminished this sheild by creating a portal.

i hope someone could help me out with the campaign, and the campaign no longer needs a spell maker, only the terrainer.

i can spell edit and terrain, what do you need?

can i see a bit of you're work? i will edit this post with the result once ive seen you're work, and i dont want members to be doing 2 things at once, so choose what you will be doing, spells or [some]maps?

i'll do spells, i'm kinda getting tired of Terraining, i should have a map around here somewhere...

consider yourself a member, you're spells seem pretty cool, but that insta kill is...chaotic, and the angel of death's spells do not say the right things, but if you make a spell like that for this campaign, i can edit it to say correct things, well i will just say this:welcome to the current team of 2 :), also i do not care that you don't want to terrain, i am learning very fast for how to make terrain, but still, help would be appreciated, also, are you good at making those big maps like in the wc3 single player, when loading a level, i wanna have those..cuz its cool when they are there. ok i will pm you soon with spell ideas. and hope that they wont be too complicated[not that you examples dont look basic, its just the intended spells, might be kind of hard..

i did those examples long ago, their all deliberately overpowered and some are incorrect because i never got around to fixing them.

BTW, I think 'Sum Sum' sounds more like 'Zug Zug'.

From my experience, Orcs don't have their own language. they talk poor English (Warhammer) or Dark tongue (LOTR) which is just a mix of poor english and slang. Probably better than your average teenager though.

well, if anyone IS interested, the campaign is getting somewhere, spell wise, but not level wise, i really need that terrainer, and no, i wont be asking for a modeler, for i am on a 56k connection, and that would make the upload to large, if i had cable, then the mod would have all graphics desired, well, not all, but i think you get the idea, the only things that havn't been seen before in this, will be skins, if anyone cares[its to take down the file size]

like i said, i'd join as Skinner or Terrainer or both if needs be, but i dont have IRC, if u cant find anyone know that i'm still here.

uhh, Pheonixiv, you are working you're part, i dont want too make members overwork[only myself :P], and arn't you occupied with other projects, and if you were to do more with this one, it would take far too much of your time..and i dont wont you too become too occupied with a project that will most likely die in the long run[i don't get my hopes up, EVER..]i want to be the one doing more of the work, instead of making everyone else doing everything[i have heard that this causes a problem, i know...it never getting finished!]


also, Pheonixiv, if you were to give a shot of one of your skins, i might consider changing my mind, depending on you're skills..

Spells - all of them

he has finished two heroes, and thats all, mainly because of myself, and lack of thought[what i really need is someone who is good at thinking up evil spells, partly good, but more so evil spells, and the like..but that can never happen]

it is currently just me and Pheonixiv working on this, and the lack of progress is because of no terrainer, and people, please try to keep this on topic..and i like the idea of having poor english for orcs..

also, even though i said to keep on topic, does anyone know how to change your thing above your avatar, like how it says Rouge or Dwarf, or something like that, i have seen people having unique things there, how do i make it so i have something like that? just to stop the post from getting more posts that arn't on topic, PM me if you know.

EDIT: umm, sorry to go off-topic, agiain, but yet this concerns chatting if you join the mod, and the like..[this only concerns people who are in the mod]

i need to know if you have aim, although this is limited to those that are in the mod, and dont post it here, PM me, so that you dont get people going and spamming you constantly, do not fear, i will tell the other members[but only if you want to]your nick..[god i sound like a dumbass here..]

umm, i never thought that the points system would come too this, working on a mod for points, is just...wrong, but time for an update!

Gerundok has a completely finished model, and tommorow the very helpful SOuNDSNC will be helping me out a bit, and hten we might be able to get Gerundok, the main character, ingame :D but with no skin just yet, or animation, but i will be learning animations soon enough[well, it will have a skin..but not actual fel orc skin and all that, most likely just white lines and a lot of black, not sure if to just have the skin requested, or do it myself..

Blizzard[its all there models, just with some modifactions, such as groms head on a fel orc raider with no wolf, and the fel orc raider rides an outland version of the stormwyrm]

and whoever does the skin, may be me, may be somebody else, if i do it tho, crap quality..

i will give a picture once the model is ingame, and i hope people will like it :)
