I haven't done any editing for 6 months or so and have had my computer reinstalled since then. I just downloaded winMPQ. Problem: I open an mpq file and all the files inside are called "~unknowns\unknown_11111252" and such. I know before when I would open any MPQ with whatever program I was using, it would just know what all the file names and paths were. What do I need to do to fix this? |

Go to my website (-> signature) or to www.zezula.net to download listfiles. |

Using Warcraft III TFT.txt from your site let winMPQ understand most of it; there are about 6 unknowns still in WAR3patch.mpq. Do I need to do something else or are those 6 unknowns here to stay for now? New question: Is War3Patch.mpq still the highest priority besides the maps for getting the files or does war3x or war3xlocal overwrite any? Edit: actually I need to know the whole priority order of War3.mpq, War3patch.mpq, war3x.mpq, and war3xlocal.mpq and any others that the game uses. |

I have no unknowns with my list. Download the lists at my site (you can find it in my signature). I think you used the other site I mentioned. You are right, the War3Patch.mpq is highest priority. |

Ok, I used the alternate download on your site and just telling winMPQ about war3patch.txt let it understand all but one unknown on war3patch.mpq and 1 unknown in war3xlocal.mpq; the other listfiles didn't seem to help. Is the order of loading: map, war3patch, war3xlocal, war3x, war3? Thanks for the help by the way :ggani: |

You are right with the load order. The only thing I don't know is the war3xlocal.mpq. But it is certainly after War3Patch.mpq. |
