Walkable and Destroyable walls with no 3rd party editors

You heard me, I've discovered how to make walls which you can walk on and can also be destroyed, a sample map follows but first a pic of the walls walkable ability in action (not easy to get a shot of collapsing walls.) In time I will improve this with custom wall models and pathing maps but for now enjoy! And it's all possible just with the TFT WE 8)) :ggani:

I discovered this while making a cinematic map with a big bridge/wall which I wanted to be blown up but I thought I'd share this with you, you should be able to tell what I did by the two custom destructibles in the map but if not I maybe will write a tutorial. *imagines Helm's deep battles with this in* :D

First a pic:

I all you have to do is set it to walkable and make your own pathing for it.

Ruin my moment why don't you? Besides I haven't seen this used in ANY maps before or posted about it so there!
Plus, this method doesn't require ANY third part editors whereas using custom pathing you would have used a third party program to make it!

I am downloading it but I have 3 hours remaining until I get home and Test it, I have some questions:

What happens when you destroy the wall at the same moment the footmen stay there?

Did you use triggers or destructible editor?

How did you do it?

If you destroy the wall and the footman isn't killed by the blast of the siege weapon which destroyed the wall he just drops to the ground. Though you could use triggers to detect if there are any units within a very small range (eg only the units who were on the wall) and either kill or hurt them (because of the fall) also in the cinematic I'm making I got terrain under the wall which looks like rubble so when the wall falls it looks like rubble is there :)

As for creation well for the basic creation you literally need only the destructible editor (well and the main World Editor window to place the walls etc) triggers can be used to enhance it of course but just to make the walls like this you only need the object editor :) I'll try to writer a short tutorial sometime.

But if you want it to look really good just draw up your own pathing map for it. And set it to walkable.

*sigh* I was just showing how it could be done and I already said about custom pathing maps but if you're so all-knowing how come I've never seem a map with this in?

No i mean its a good map i'm just saying as advice to anyone trying to do it that if you want it to look really good just use your own pathing maps... The reason i don't do it if you really want me to i will do it...

oh sorry I must have misunderstood you. Sorry :(

But I did say I planned to improve it with custom wall models and pathing maps, guess great minds think alike :ggani:
