My first skin...Rate it :)

This is my first skin so i would like to know is it good.

Most of it is just recolored, but you can find few areas that i made myself.

BTW:Where is the Obsidian Statues base model ? I could not find it.

hmmm.... I didnt notice it.

I'd give this a 3; it seems pretty good for a first! A couple comments.

- The horns on the head really should probably be identical (or near to it) to the nice gold of the feathers.

- The lines on the chest are, I assume, either divisions in the black armour there or silver-ish trim. I personally think they could use more shading (light above, dark below) to make it look like overlapping armour plates.

- Same for the hand - more highlights/shadows will only make it look better, IMO.

- Did you do the feathers yourself? In any event, I really like them - they're very stylish. The shading on the beast's hindquarters looks good and doesn't really need to be changed.

Keep at it; skinning's great fun, isn't it? =)

No...I didnt make those feathers....they are just recolor.
And while i was painting them yellow allmost all shadows and stuff disappeared :( ... i dont really like them...but i know that i cant make better than that.....yet. :(

That's one damn good skin.

OFFTOPIC: (Well, sort of) What system are you using, Lord_Garithos? And, which programs do you use for skinning?

I'm just interested in how you personally skin. No methods anyone has told me are yet working.

I use PSP 7 .

And...My style...:abomHUH?: ... it is litle bit hard to explain....but... I think it changes all the time emote_sweat ... I try new styles when i learn something new...if it does not work i dont use it...if it works then i use it.

I give it a 3. I've seen better. Yet, I've also seen far worst. Keep at it. Who knows. You chould be the next PencilGod!

BTW: Very good! (I know I've said that, but I want to say it again! My first skin was a militia with grey hair!
