skining help pleeeeeeease

i made a skin (or so i thought) and i tested out many others to see how everyone does this skinning stuff......i can make the skin edit it fine, import it but.....when i import it i can only use the skin as an icon....how do i put it on a unit???

You click the file in the import manager (modify properties) and tell it to use a custom path. Like the demon hunter would be...

Textures\HeroDemonHunter.blp

look i when i edited i saved it somewhere else ...C:\documents and settings\blah blah blah right, and i have to run it from there if i do anything else it doesnt allow me to use the file i

I'm not sure why you used the lower-case 'i' so many times in your last post, but are you editing a pre-made skin by extracting one of Blizzards to edit it, or did you just open MSPaint and try to make one from scratch?

i used the warcraft 3 viewer, extracect an image as a tga did what someguy said. eedited it, saved it...then used viwer to convert to bmp blp something. then the guy on the other post said to just open the log and use the filepath given.

you need to import the file, then specify the proper pathname, if you just say what unit ur editing it will be easy as draco said

im edting the angel from ressurect and i want i made it a black angel and i want it to show up......does that even work...anyways im also trying to do a worg rider from the raider i made the wolf brown and stuff and did this and that.

Abilities\Spells\Human\Resurrect\Angel1.blp

That is the path and name that you need to use when you import it.
