Got The Viewer, What Now?

OK, I followed another guide for how to do skins/paint i really dont know what its called. But i think its skins. So I downloaded the wc3 viewer and set it up.... Well... what now? It I have absoloutly no idea how to skin them! Do u use a paintbrush? parts? No idea. Please help me out in the best way you can:D

okay
1) save the skin u want to skin as a .tga (this part should be ez)
2)get a program that u can open and edit .tgas with, i suggest Paintshop pro 7(extinct almost) and 8 or Photoshop 7
3)from there edit it then save it(same file .tga)
4)open it in the viewer and save it as a .blp with the correct name in the warcraft3 main folder(correct name would be what u saved it as)
5)open WE and take a screenshot with the printscreen button
