What I think:

-This is a good example of the disadvantage of average microphones: you can't speak very loud without spoiling it (The bad news is: getting a mic that lets you speak at nearly any level will cost you a lot). Try re-recording but keep your voice at the same level of volume.

-There are a few second gaps after the speech in some of the samples.

-Take all the sounds and put them in a zip next time. www.winzip.com

-Check out my voice recording tutorial. There's some good advice in there to everything to do with recording.

Other than that, it IS a good voice, with a good acting voice (Though a longer sample would be needed to really judge it properly).

Hope that helps!

As Magic said, the voice acting isn't bad at all, but it is ruined by the sound of the air rushing into the mix and making the muffled/whooshing sounds unfortunatley.

Not that great to do, your voice loses it's richness and fullness that way.

just a tip...
this goes for crappy mics, great mics...people working from studios..
the way people see you is expressed in your voice.
Take your time, make sure you can get the best quality out of it..
edit sound quality and such.
If you make pops and puffs...rerecord...
there is nothing worse as a director hearing a great line ruined with a puff at the end.
Also, NEVER be afraid to go out on a limb and try something new.
Look at Johnny Depp, when he scores he scores big...
when he fails you know he fails.
Also, never hold back. If you feel like a character would laugh a certain loud way, MAKE SURE the character laughs that way. Never not laugh that way for fear of being made fun of or "my parents might be listening"...
who cares, tell them you're crazy and like laughing.
when you hold back people can tell..
there are many moments in WCIII:TFT where you hear some of the character's VAs obviously not using their full talent.

put a shirt or a layer of cloth over your microphone to reduce backround noises and getting too loud... :D

But it will also muffle the voice, I presume.

a little, but as long as you dont have a wool blanket or sumthin itll just sound a little softer and have less sharp highs n lows :D

i did that when i was editing a movie on my friends computer and it sounded better quality-ish than when we just did it normally
