Custom Unit Problems

I hope this is the right forum for this now, the last one it was in got deleted.

I've got two major problems. one is with Upgrades...I'm making a quasi-custom race and I need to know how to 'allow' some upgrades when the requirements are met...like a 3rd tier town hall allowing lv 3 weaponry upgrades. units are fine, just not upgrades.

And second, I got the WEE from this site to make units who will upgrade, and i've got two modes of each unit, and they have different problems:

Normally made, modifying existing units: Critters do not register upgrades, even when given the 'upgrades used'.

WEE used, sounds changed: Models will upgrade, but problems are based on wether or not it has been 'compiled' as a.w3m yet.
Uncompiled: Units don't sound right. Owlbears should not sound like Dryads.
Compiled: Some models 'ice skate' when moving. funny, but not good.

Also, I have some problems with collision detection. Some models that SHOULD be large in detection are actually smaller than a Huntress....its disturbing to see a bunch of owlbears lined up.

I hate to bump, but its on a bout page 5 and noone's noticed it...and the problems persist.
