I just got the Warcraft 3 expansion and am amazed by the spell editor. When I had WC3 RoC, I had wished that the 'save game cache' trigger worked over battle.net. Even so, I am thinking about making a RPG that has the capacity to save characters via a password. Do you think people (hint: you) would bother to write down about 15 letters/numbers before quitting in order to play again with the same character? And if anyone knows if this has been done before please speak now (and link to it). Thanks. |

Yes there is a existing password system already made by Dakan, link below. http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/s...threadid=11792 I'm not sure how well this actually works because i haven't tested it myself but Dakan knows his stuff :P. |

Thanks. I read the thread by Dakan and I have a question about it: They said "The PM isn't hard just make a trigger where it writes the pm code on bnet + player name" but never said how to do it. Do you know how? And I could not find the Tides of Serpent map at order-fm.com Is it under a different name or what? |
