biulding height

hey im trying to give a biulding some hiegth so it apears to be floating. I've raised the movement- hieght and hight minimun and in the world editor it apears to be perfect. but upon loading the map its not floating.... what gives.

Also i've given the biulding a differnt 'ground' which apears fine the world edit but when i load the map it dissapears.

some help to find out why this stuff is happening would be great.

Which WE are you using. Try it in reg. WE if you're not using that.

im using umswe 3.8. is that myproblem?

- i just tried opening my map with the normal we and still the same thing

So you opened with reg. WE and then altered stuff and tried it. The only other thing I could think of was that buildings can't be flying. Not sure.

i dont its the weirdest thing. i get the floating biuldings in the we but in the game its not there.... what the crap. could i raise the height with triggers?

the actual game doesn't allow buildings to have flying heights afaik

you need to disable the building boolean (its near the bottom), and then set the movement type to flying

then it will work in game
