i noticed in phantoms rpg and others of course they have the area with all units u can make, but what boggles me is how did the person get the creeps etc. which arent exactly races, onto the map AND designate it as purples units so then their able to desigante when u click them they appear in a certain regoin, my big problems here is that i dont know how to put units on my map and designate them to a player so i can continue triggering them to be workable in my dnd map

I believe it's in the unit properties dialouge.

it's very easy. 'creeps' are members of the Neutral Hostile faction, which attacks everyone, but their units arent. just set up a create 'ogre magi' for 'player' thingy. they can be aligned to players just like any other unit.
