wich program do i need to edit skins? i just dled Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8, and it wont open mdx files, wich one will?

Ok here we go again.

.MDX and .MDL files are model files 3 dimensinal objects. YOu edit them with either 3DS Max or Milkshape 3d or Gmax

Get Gmax or 3DS Max at http://www.discreet.com

.BLP, .TGA, .BMP, .JPG files are image files that go over the model files to make them look good and not see-through. You use MSPaint(not recommended), Jasc Paint Shop Pro, or Adobe PhotoShop to edit these!

Actually you can edit .MDL files with any program like notepad. It's what I use to add particle emitters.

thanks, but what are those use of blp files, i wouldnt let me use one when i imported it into WC3

A BLP is a skin for a model (unit/doodad/building/etc.)
