well u know tint value on the unit edito u can edit that but it will change the whoel color of the unit etc. not counting the offical color area of the unit where it marks what color player is using it. this can change hair color but also the color of the whole unit, dunno if thats good enough |

this question should be in the skinning, modelling, and blah blah section, but I'll answer. Use the Image Extractor that you can download from wc3campaigns to extract the unit's skin and turn it into a .tga. Use an mpq extractor to get the unit's .mdx and their portrait. Modify the skin's hair color. Use a hex editor to change which skin the mdx's point to. then use the image extractor to convert your .tga back into a blp. Then use MPQ2k to import the 2 .mdx's and the .blp into war3patch.mpq or your map and they can be used. If this confuses you, oh well, if not, cool. You might want to read Cookie's tutorial tho because I can't explain shit for shit. =) |
