I want to delete 2 races from the race selection window. I know it has something to do with playerslot.fdf but whenever I edit it, wc3 crashes. can any1 offer some insight on this please? Cyaz, |

Don't think this can be done, nor would u really need to, as you just set the races to fixed...or let people know that they can't take one or two of the races (eg. HAVE to be Orc or Undead) |

Very easy to do. Just put double slashes before each selection you dont want, so if you only wanted Human and Orc you would have this under the framedefs: MenuItem "HUMAN", -2, MenuItem "ORC", -2, // MenuItem "UNDEAD", -2, // MenuItem "NIGHT_ELF", -2, This works because I have tested it. If you want, ill be happy to send you the file. Just rename the attachment to PlayerSlot.fdf |

yeah you can actually add races to the drop down list, however anything more then the original four will get you orc, or atleast repeat the other 4 races. I only tried adding one (demon) way back when. Oh well... |
