I'm working on a ToB/DotA-ish map, Blade and Axe, and I need a few questions answered... 1. With importing icons, I always end up a green icon whenever there should be a Disabled representation of that icon. I've tried importing my own version of a DISBTN for the icon, but it still happens, is there something I'm missing? Does it matter if I use the WE's importer or WinMPQ? 2. What's a decent skin/icon/model site? 3. How do I edit buffs? Can this be done in the WE's spell editor or is it MPQ editing? If I need to edit the MPQ, can you tell me where to find the buffs? 4. On summoned units, they still display the name Water Elemental or Sentry Ward, how can I change these to what I want? |

1.- Import the disabled version of the icon at this path: ReplaceableTextures\commandbuttonsdisabled\DISname.blp If your icon is named name.blp 2.- Go to the skin gallery - the Art request forum. 3.- Buff editing is easy with We unlimited, (go to the map editing tools forum) but It is not a great idea to use it for a multiplayer map cause Your map players will need to download a patch... 4.- Better base the spell from Item Rock Gollem summon ability |
