Square's Nobuo Uematsu is one of the best game composers of all time. Chrono Trigger, the Final Fantasy's, etc. |

hey, never say nobuo uematsu did the music for chrono trigger it was yasunori mitsuda who did the best pieces there, even though nobuo did a few of them, and balthasar was the only good one :) so i recommend yasunori mitsuda :9 |

I think it's safe to ssay if you want the best RPG music out there.. look through the squaresoft games... all of them.. some really impesssive songs- FFVIII intro (can't remember the real name) FFVII Final Battle - One Winged Angel FFVI Final Battle - Dancing Mad Crono Cross - intro, ending, and dragon battle Crono Trigger- Magus, breaking from jail scene, and other stuff FFIX- Kuja's theme, final battle Vagrant Story - Final/End Theme, various other tracks are just as good...especially if you've seen the dark nature of the game. Final Fantasy Tactics - the intro, ending, and various battle themes Xenogears - TONS of good songs here... this game was more like a book than a game...soooooo much plot..lol anyway...I think many of those are helpful... and if you want newer stuff.. check for FFXI music... it's all general RPG style music...and most of it is relatively unknown at the moment so people won't be all "I know where that's from!"....and having played the game...allt he music I saw was great.... *has the sandoria theme song stuck in his head* |
