Hello map makers of warcraft 3 campaigns. I come to you to tell the people that I am making a Clan. I really wish to start my own map making buisiness for others to rely on when they need help most. This little company of map making will be introduced on Battle.net soon enough called "Clan MMA" for Map Makers Association. If I could really pick this idea off the ground We all could have it easy while making your maps. I am looking for... Terrain editor's-? Cinimatic/triggor makers-? Unit editor's-? Producers (idea's/imagination)-? Directors (lead mapper's)-? Teachers (To help others how to)-? Customs (Units/Skins/Spells)-? I will also be announcing map challanges to see how things are going along with the students. I will be teaching Monday-Thursday between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Every other Saturday I will be giving out a quiz to see what my students have learned and what they haven't at 9:00 pm. I wish to see you all of you there at Clan MMA. Actually, there is already a Wc3c map making clan at channel (#clan wc3c). Been there for a while, so if ya need help beta testing a map, that's the place to go. :D |

...No no no I am making a clan for teaching students all teh basics about map making. I will make some changes to the name but my idea my clan I really dont care if somone else is making a clan based on this idea also. I still need help making this clan... |

I don't think people really want to spend time teaching others to map in WE. Most of the good editors are working on projects, and the ones who aren't that good won't be of much use to you. |

Well, even if ure not a big bad great triggering guru, you can still have some tips and know things that others dont... i can usually make whatever i want in the WE... but i aint famous or in any huge project... although im way 2 lame to be in any clan or something, and i was in a project once, Gaiden if anyone remembers? was kinda zero activity on that one though |

Listen gentlemen I believe that even if people may hate my idea I think that I can give them alot of ideas to start one of there own great maps. Milkman, I think that if you put your mind to it to could become popular and you could make a great map. Just put your mind to it and you could do to. Milkman with my Terrain teachings and great imagination I could have you belong to the first of the greatest map teaching clans on Battle.net Just say the word and your in from there we can simply talk or try some things that you might be good at. All you people who dont think this is a good idea dont post here because you will not put me down on this project!:ggani: |

I am not saying that I hate your idea. I am simply saying that the average Warcraft 3 mapper will not want to spend alot of their time teaching others. They are not being nasty, it's just human nature. I, like many other experienced mapper spend quite some time on these board, often giving out advice and answers, but I do this mostly because I can often gain something from it too. Your idea is a good one, but I doubt that many will wish to participate in the teaching activities. |
