How do I "Learn Hero Skill" a custom skill?

The "Learn Hero Skill" Action won't take variables, it only accepts presets and an event response function "Learned Hero Skill."

How do I learn a Custom skill for the hero? They don't show up in the presets...

Any help would be much appreciated.

I think I may have come up with a workaround using Hotkeys, but I haven't tried it out yet... Your way is more elegant, but I think this other way will work better for me. Who knows.
