To be playing and Animation and Pausing it (Don let it move)

You notice this when you play the human campaign... (Forgoted which chapter)

I tried to pause the unit and order it to play an casting animation, but doesn't work...

Plz help, Thx!

There is a way that will definatly work, and another that may.
1) pause the unit and gueue the units animation (you might need to queue before you pause)
2) give the unit to another player and get rid of its movement and attack, this proboly wont work too well but it might.

ImperialNaga, did you even look at Illidan's stats before you posted this. Any why are you shouting at Bloodlust? He's right. Did you even bother to try it after he said that Illidan's casting channel? I'm guessing not. You should have tried before you even posted, but instead you are rude to someone who gives you an answer, and don't even bother to see if he is right.

Ya its when Illlidan is destroying the orc poratls and when you step on the circle of power he begins to what? thats right channel. yep its definately the channel spell.

Hey! I dun feel like arguing...
I didn't shout at BloodLust... Adding a "!" doesn't mean that i'm shouting or angry...

Anyway, i tried the spell channel...
But the Movement/Attack/Patrol/Skills did not disappear, and when a unit attack him, he will attack back...

Plz select Illidan when you're playing. Thx.

How about dynamically replacing the unit you're working on with an exact building replica?

Naturally, buildings (even if using a unit model) won't attack other units if you remove access to their attack. And it should prevent people from moving, attacking with, etc with that unit.

Make sure to include triggers to change the unit back not only when it's done, but also if it were to die.

Didn't you edit the ability?

Channel is supposed to pause the unit, cause it has a field that tells Hide UI or something at it starts at true, if you editted the ability create a copy and reset it, give the copy to illidan.
