BattleBotv8.2
Question:
How do I make the cooldown of a unit like 0.01?

when you say cooldown, I assume you mean attack cooldown. In that case, you can change it under the Comabt section of the Unit Editor.

I mean how can I make a unit fire 0.01 seconds? Does the cool down not go that fast because the model can not go as fast?

The game speeds up the unit animations to fit with their attack speeds, no?

At least when I had a unit with a bizarrely tweaked attack speed, he was animated much faster than usual... but that wasn't every 0.01 seconds...

The game does speed up animations to some degree, but there is a top line to this. If Warcraft didn't hav this maximum speed, the engine would crash. You might well be able to raise it, but there might well be consequences.

My solution is for speeding up the attack cooldown. Even if you set it to 0.01, it won't work because the game waits for the attack animation to play before any projectiles are fires (or for melee units, before damage is dealt). So the attacks will follow each other pretty damn quicly, but they cannot go as fast as you want them to.

I think UMSWE 4.0 changed the mximums so you may want to try it on that, but be aware that crashes may occur if the game overloads.
