Hi. I'm new modelling and such and I just read my first tutorial. I'm using Gmax, and have the MAXScript MDX Importer/Exporter v2.0 by Phil Laing (aka KMK). Now from what I understand, I'm supposed to import my model, (Taken from the MPQ by using WinMPQ) modify the verteces and leave it at that for the first time. Well I did, and now I want to export it. The problem is that whenever i click save, an error pops up saying: Runtime Error: Feature Not Availiable: "fopen write mode" Does this mean I need a new program to edit with or something? KMK's makes use of a function thats not avaialable for GMAX, to export you need to get 'dex from irc.wc3campaigns.com #dex |

Okay,I read the readme and everything, I ran the script, but now when I export I get a different runtime erorr -- Runtime Error: Feature Not Availiable: "createFile" So.... how do I deal with this one? |

you have to use write to istener, then open the listener and copy and paste it to a blank mdl file |

Come again? I didn't take in a word of that, I'm a complete noob to this.. the listener jsut comes as a blank screen.... I tried to run the script under the listener but nothing happens.... can you make what you said a bit simpler? I can't understand it, but thanks for replying. Eriond |
