A New style of Cliffs

I was playing around with the new UMSWE and then I started to make a RPG. I finished the mountians then started on the town. Soon I came up with this. Do you guys like this style of cliff for part of the town?

I wouldn't exactly call it "new", cause alot of people have used it before.
I would highly recommend using those types of cliffs a matter of fact. I don't really like the regular cliffs, they look too steep and unnatural IMO.

The doodads of the river rushes (grass stuff) don't look very natural. Also, try smoothing the terrain a little so it's not squared and jagged. I'll move this to the map forum, because I don't know why it's in skinning. Check the sticky topics in the map forum, if you want a simple way to make high terrain without using UMSWE. :D

Oh, and Ian was 100% right about this not being anything new.

What terrain is that you used on the cliffs themselves?

Any of the rock unbuildable textures look good as cliffs. As for the actual one, kinda looks like lordaeron or barrens, but I'm sure he could tell you better than me. :D

Make the height you want of the cliff, then use the Plateau "modifier" @ the Terrain palette(click&hold over heigh terrain and move-hold over lower terrain to create a plateau).

Use the terrain deformation tools In the terrain palete, When you Have UMSWE or Draco's TxT file you can go really , really up with them and create those stuff, Don't forget to use pathing blockers otherwise the units will be able to climb the cliffs in a really fast way.
