I was wondering if any of you had some opinions as to which, if any, of the current advanced editors would be the best choice for multiplayer maps. I have read up on them all at one point or another, but havnt used any because of various bugs and warnings about multiplayer compatibility. I have done about 90% of the work on my current map in TFTWE, and I don't want to run into issues with editor functions or triggers going fubar on Bnet or otherwise eating my map. Functionality wise I am looking for something to reduce some of the tedious aspects that currently require outside programs such as custom loading and mini map screens, colorizing etc Advanced trigger options would be a plus as well, in particular, more flexible options for dealing with mass offsets for spell patterns, GUI's for simple things like "Learned Hero Skill" etc... I have read up on most of them, but I thought I'd ask those who are currently using them which would be the best " All in one" for the type of things mentioned above. |

Sounds like the Reg. TFT World Edit can do all that for you, and that's the one I'd recommend to anyone. :D |

Ya, It can. I just wanted to know if it was really worth DLing any of the advanced editors. Can already do everything I mentioned, just looking for that magic all in one like anyone else I suppose. 10 minutes or even 2 or 3 less clicks here and there adds up and gives me more time for fluff like skins and such. But from what I'm reading they all have thier errors and crashes and such, I may be better off sticking to TFTWE. |

I've never actually used one of these advanced editors but if you ask me, go with TFT world editor. If you need to you can always resort to JASS, you will never have compatiblity problems, and any of the special values and ranges for spell effects can be easily added in to TFTWE by editing .slk and .txt files. |
