k im a noob to skinnin so bear with me. I dled the extractor 2.1 but how do i edit skins. I mean i dont know where the current skins are that blizzard made. WHere are they?

With Image Extractor, you extract a .BLP file (choose one that you want to skin) and convert it to a .TGA (Image Extractor will do that for you.)
And then you use a program like photoshop and you edit the .TGA. Then you convert it back to a .BLP via Image Extractor and import it into your map.

I know that but like say i want to edit the Demon hunter....where is the original demon hunter located?

Yea but dude where did you find that out? oh and by the way i use Warcraft III File Format Converter v2. Also i typed that thing in and it said it coudn't find it :(

They .blp files are in the war3.mpq, war3x.mpq or patch.mpq (for the updated ones).

I use Warcraft 3 Viewer. It lets you type in a search for a word and it'll search the MPQ. It also has a built in .BLP -> .TGA and vise versa. I find it very useful. Get it here

Um im jus gonna try and reinstall it cause it wont let me open the war file for some reason. It says unexpected format

Make sure your opening the War3.mpq or any MPQ file.
