I have never actualy seen a skinned unit..

Nope never sorry nadda... ive seem them in a editer once when i downloaded the nuclues dugeon things from download but when i played it , skinns were gone:( so i realy dont know whats happening...maybe someone could put up a list of maps with skinned units so i could look out for em? i realy wanna seesome...

opening in world editor means skins = gone.

Visit the Modeling, Skining, and Animaing board, there's tons of skins in there.

I dont have much choice when i open up my downloaded file it auto opens the editer....am i suposed to have warcraft on?

Don't open it up in WorldEdit. To play the map, go to the Custom Game option in Warcraft 3. If you just want to steal the skin, don't.

Actually, it's not the opening that erases the skin from the map, it's when you save the map.
