I'm new in sound using. So how do i make a custom unit sound set, or make an imported sound set to work in a FT map, if you can do it at all. (Starcraft sounds).

The easiest way I know of is simply replacing them as Imported Files in the Campaign Editor for TFT. Get WinMPQ or an MPQ Viewer to find out the paths names and take it from there. Ask if you want more detailed instructions.

The thing I've done until now, is to find an internal sound set, and then replaced the different sounds with the imported sounds, but thats not good enough for me. So yeah, it would be great if you would give me some more detailed instructions, about using the MPQ viewers.

As far as I know, it's the only way to have new sounds. :-/
Fortunately, there are much more units and heroes to replace.

For MPQ using, get WinMPQ: http://shadowflare.ancillaediting.net/dwnload.html

It's pretty basic - install it, open it and open the Blizzard MPQ's. Select .wav to be listed and all the sounds are there, with their directory's listed.

Thanks for the help Magic, I'll try the MPQ.

(This is my first thread, so I don't know if I should delete it now, when I've got an answer).
