Holes?

i was wondering how u make holes in a unit. ive heard people say that u alpha it out or sumthin like that, but how do u do that with adobe photo shop?emote_confused i would really like to now so i could make a cape or sumthin with hole in it so u caould see throught it and onto his back or the ground or sumthin.

yes for that its alpha channel. check the sites tutorials on the site. and to paint it, a good way is to start with a grey circle then use a smaller black one in a corner.
