My First Couple Of Skins

these are my first skins that i have made. and only the shaman is a recolor and i dont even no y i put him in there cause he sucks and doesnt even look different. but i would like some constructive critisism on my skins and ideas on how they could get better. also, if u would like a close up on a particular unit just tell me. hopfully u like them:D

you should try to redraw stuff nice time and stay away from recolors. Looks ok i guess why do the models look so thin?

i do try to stay away from recoloring, i only recolor if it would make it look better, wich it rarely does. and i only recolored the shaman in this pic and i dont even count that one as a new skin because i think it sucks horribly. and i have no idea y the models look thin, i might have alphad sumthin out without realizing it.

hmmm... i have seen that gyrocopter somewhere before... but where...? oh... my avatar... btw, nice if not recolor... ye might want to try learning free-hand like me...

what did u use to skin them? (app i mean)

i use adobe photo shop 7 to skin them. and i didnt exactly make the helicoptor. my friend made it and he wanted me to put it in the screen shot so i did. and im trying to do things free hand a lot more, its a little hard though, but eventually with enough practice hopefully ill get better.8))

The models look skinny because its a fullscreen screenshot squeezed into this thin form, making them look thin and tall. Just thought you all might like to know. I like the marine... by the way...

finally sum one actually said they like sumthin. thank you verry much, i worked hard on the marine, my friend toled me that i should make it a little darker. do u guys agree? or should i leave it the same? i personally think it looks fine as it is.

All you need to do for the marine is make the light green a little darker, or maybe brown to look like camoflague.

i changed the light green into a brown color to make it more camoflaugey, but i was wondering if i should put sum tannish color in there too cause that might make it even more camoflaugey. hope u like it.

Yea, I think it would look better with some tans in there. Also, how did you get that dead looking felhound in the editor?

to get the dead fellhound all i did was turn the gem on, the button is in the lower right corner in between the navigation arrows, the i just deleted the fellhoung, wich kills it since the gem is on, then i took a quick screen shot hoping the dead fellhound would give it a flashy look.:ggani:

To get units to do death animes look at the bottom right corner and there is the gem... turn it on and when you DL a unit it plays death anime

ok, i added the tan to his skin so now he looks really camoflaugey, its cool. im not sure of wut else i can do with this skin so plx tell me if u have ideas, or if u have suggestions for one of my other skins.

Oh, yea. I knew about the gem, I just thought you had a doodad of it or something. Btw, the tans are nice, but a bit too yellow, make them really light browns or something... about the color of the tusks on this troll :WD:
