Is there a way to look at the pre-existing animations and edit them. I want to do two things, first I want to look at pre-existing animations as a guide for doing my own. second, I want to edit some of them for my map. Don't be shy on details... |

actually there is a way to see how the bones move... just import the mdl with nicolis script to max... but the bones arent chained, not sure if this is an error, and they dont affect any verticies, the script just doenst support this function... yet, so you would have to redo that part... not sure if this is worth the work.... meph |

just wait, I have had some free tiem in the last few weeks so ive been working on some more parts of my script, plus i have a big surprise coming in the next few days....its a toolthat will allow you to delete vertices and still have the original animations for existing war3 models |

that tool would have to rewrite much code to do so, right? |

im pretty sure it will all work in theory, i just have to keep track of what veetices stil exist and their groupd id and renumberthem, but it wil lrequire a seperate 3ds max script, and you will have to import the model, and then delete vertices without moving them, then re-export |
