I made this skin for my Campaign But I dont have a name for the character for him yet. Maybe you can help me. He is from a celtic clan, a clan based around the wolf. The heroes in my campaign go up to level 30 and they have 6 lvl 5 abilities, but I only have 4 so far, maybe U can help me with those too. But keep in mind, im not a good spelleditor, much further than the build in spell editor and adding effects I cant get.

And I didnt add much details because I want your oppinion. What kind of details should I add. And SHOULD I add any details?

Just a comment, I know you intensionally did it, but the arrow on his belt I think looks a little weird. Maybe changing it to another kind of symbol might make it look better. But the colors are good.

well since he is a wolf lord, you should make his face, seem more old and hardened and mean. also you need to make the belt symbolize something about a wolf, like a paw print or a wolf head howling or whatever

Looks good, but I agree with Frostbite, make him more feral and change that arrow. What do you think about the name Garod Wolfkin?

rough him up a bit if he's gonna be a wolf knight guy! give him dirt n blood n scars :D maybe even wolf eyes!

and i'm guessing that arrow on his belt is supposed to be a rune? (tyr or summin like that is an arrow pointing up i think... which means leadership right?) but most people will just recognize that its a cheesy arrow, so you might want to make it a paw or something more wolf-related.

Ok, I'll add something more wolflike to that arrow.. But the rune remains. The rune has several meanings. Its an elven rune for death and battle and its a viking rune for battle and vicory. In fact Almost all celtic gaulish and viking warrirs had a rune like that on them somewhere to ensure victory. And it is a symbol of the god Tyr. The god of war, which is the character's main deity. Maybe I'll place the rune somewhere else then.

Further I will add some scars (good idea!). Will post them tonight... cuz I have got to make some homework now... :)

And plzzz. need some speel Ideas. He currently has these:

[Endurance aura based] Range 0. Increases attack speed and movement speed.
[Berserk based] Also increases attack speed and movement speed. Wolf warriors a known for their ferocious attacks.
[Feral Spirit based] Summons wolves. Become more from level 3 to 5
[Storm Bolt Based] U know what it is... maybe I'll reduce the stun time and make it do more damage.

Spell idea from me, but I dont know if it fits with this character (Its an ultimate):
The earth starts to tremble and stone pillars arise from the ground, trapping the target (like entangle, but mor damage and shorter duration)

BTW the ability I need will be a 5 level ultimate.

Make him have a scare on his face. Also please remove the arrow, I don't like it at all.

Ok here's the update. Added more beard and removed the arrow and replaced it by a wolf's paw. Also added blood to the axe and added scrathes to the armor. The face of the wolf lord looks older now.

Now that's something to be proud of, good job. I really like the fur and the axe was a great idea and fits in perfectly. My favorite part is the fur, how'd you make it? Also, I think maybe you can use a bit more of that fur in places, like between the crotch and knee pads.

yeah. id think that a wolf lord would be all about the furs! :foot:

nice work though! but he needs to look more wolfy.

Heres a tip. if you re new to skinning dont just completly saturate his armor coz its very lame and no one likes it. also make him have a big fur cape :D

He HAS a big fur cape.. :) U cant see it though. I'll post a screenshot of it later. I'm going to reskin the complete armour but before I was going to start on that I just wanted your opinion. Now thats okay I can move on to the next stage. Im just posting the progress.

About the Fur:
First make a dark brown base color. Then take a brown a little lighter than the base color and use the grass like brush (Photoshop 7). Edit the properties so that it doesnt use diffirent color and disable the spread (sorry have dutch version). Then change size to about the length of the hairs of the fur. Start filling the 'fur' with the hairs.

Second color will be a little lighter again, this time U are going to make the way the fur hangs around the body. Use smooth moves and keep some areas dark.

Take a dark brown/gray color. And make quick moves over the fur for the variety of hairs. Do this with diffirent colors.

Then take Black as base color and do the whole fur again. Especially the shaded parts.

Finally take the color U used first (not too dark and not too light) and brush the highlighted parts of the fur.

Hope this helped you.

Maybe a mod can sticky this message.. :) I'll post it later again in a new thread if they want to. Who needs skins of some wolf guy if they are looking for fur? :)

Ok I have been searching for a site with Old-Norse names including where it was from and I came up with these names for him, Grimolf means Fierce Wolf:

Grimolf Bloodaxe
Grimolf Grimmr (Grimolf the Fierce)
Grimolf Herra (Grimolf the Lord)
Grimolf Abal (Grimolf the Noble)
Grimolf Oôr (Grimolf the Furious)

I found them here:
