I reworked all the numbers of weapons in gameplay constant, so I want to change the description of those

Normal Attack
XXXXX
Do XXXX dmg to XXX,....

Every unit has that icon that says the description, how can I change the text?!?

I'm getting a little tired of saying this over and over.. don't you people ever use the search function? -.-

The file is in War3xlocal.mpq, UI/FrameDef/InfoPanelStrings.fdf.. if your OS has a program that automatically uses FDFs, then don't use it..treat the file like a txt

thanks, but I added the modified version of UI/FrameDef/InfoPanelStrings.fdf into my map, and nothing changed...........

I tried both with the complete location and without the location UI/FrameDef/

both don't work................!

What's wrong? @@"

Fdf files doesn't work in a map but only in war3patch.mpq.
So this files should only be modified for a mod where you join a custom war3patch.mpq.

No, you don't add the mpq. I think what Krakou is trying to say is that fdf files won't be recognised by the game in the map, so it won't use it, so you need to make your own custom war3xlocal.mpq to store it (which all people who play the map must have before playing the map, making it impossible to spread over B.Net)

..I've never tested changing the FDF, so I really can't help you, sorry...
