I made many custom spells by editing .txt and .slk files back in the days of RoC. Now I copied them into the TFT slk and txt files but made them fit to 1.10/TFT. Everything works fine except for the Tooltips. In the editor everything seems fine but in game it ****s up. EVERY TOOLTIP from my abilities that was made by txt/slk editing that was not changed with the ability editor was not there - instead there was this pissing me off "Tooltip missing" or sth like that. So I started to add a space at the end of each tooltip of my abilities to make a difference but not making it look different. Athough it was a long and boring thing to do - I had no other choice. OK but the problem came when I got to editing my spells with longer tooltips. Somewhere in the forums I have read that the Learn-Extended-Tooltip (the longest ussually) has a maximum of 299 chars and it can't get any longer even with AbilityMetaData.slk editing. So is there still hope for me to make long Extended-Learn-Tooltips or do I have to write shortcuts like "Level 1 - 25 dmg, Level2 - 45, Level 3 - 70"? Martinez PS I kinda think that TFT editing gives me more trouble than in RoC. |

Anyone? Please at least tell me that it's ****ed like hell. Then I would at least know that I can't do nothing about it. Martinez |

Okay. It's ****ed like hell. Supposedly 1.13 will carry along some improvements for the editor. I really do hope that the character limit removal is part of this... it's not fair when you consider most of the normal tooltips surpass the limit already. Until then, you can get the latest version of UMSWE, which works with TFT. It removes a lot of limits, including this one I believe. |
